‘And the hand to guide her was never given till the last act’
The yoga of insecurity
Deep into the ice cave
Shivering & Forsaken
Your mine, your mine: you murmur
Holding her tender to the heart
Whakapapa: the capacity to embrace insecurity in order to find ‘life’ can become a yoga; a way of transformation. As we embrace the wisdom of insecurity we turn away from the futility of clinging to ‘outer’ and ‘inner self-created’ securities that promise safety but in reality keep us from our essence: our own life. The path of letting go ‘false securities’ and ‘embracing risk’ brings us to a place of recognition and awakening. We discover, our one abiding security, often lost & forsaken, is the ability to live out of our own unique soul; out of our own spontaneous aliveness. It’s here we finally receive our own life. The saying ‘And the hand to guide her was never given till the last act’ is from the Self (3/5/13).
