Whakapapa: written Easter Sunday morning. I find myself chuckling as I read it. Perhaps one of the greatest hindrances to a person becoming all she or he is capable of becoming is ‘the cross of expectation:’  To become one’s own person it is vital to break away from the expectations others have for your life: to find one’s own voice & live one’s own story. It is also to receive & enjoy the kiss of one’s own beloved soul: the green kiss of Magdalene.
