Song 38
You are the living imprint of the Divine in whose arms I lay
How true my love when heart affirms
The
Living
Imprint
In my arms
~
Oh Michelangelo give me sight
To
See
Anew
In
Stone
The
Light
~
In
Loves embrace
The
Heavenly
Blue
In
Lace
And
Face
The Honey Dew
21/12/12
Whakapapa, written as a response to a word from the Self: ‘They (women) are the living imprint of the Divine; (gulp) in whose arms I lay.’ (18/12/12) The Self is very creative & capable of adding a ‘gulp’ to its sayings to express its truth. I had a sense when I wrote this invocation that I was writing as a representative man to remind myself & other men that all women bear the imprint of the Divine. A personal way of a man (or a woman) putting the Self’s word to a lover would be: ‘You are the living imprint of the Divine in whose arms I lay.’ ‘The Heavenly Blue has associations with Mary the Mother of God: The Queen of Heaven. Blue is the colour of Heaven. ‘The Honey Dew’ is the Sacred Feminine.
