Psalm 28

The true comes when you bring the light
Of your personality
To bear
On the choice
Before
You

Your
Personal
Light

Ever
Inventive

Ever
Astonishing

Ever
Unique

Child of night’s tempestuous passage

Now
Heart’s
Joyful
Companion

Shining
Shining
Shining

On
Life’s

Resurgent
Way

Kevin Moran 17/6/11

Whakapapa: The first section of this psalm was ‘given’ during the night. While sleeping, ‘the voice’ (of the Self) said, ‘The true comes when we bring the light of our personality to bear on the choice we have before us.’ (4/4/11) I hurriedly wrote the phrase down. While tramping Mt Te Kinga on the West Coast, the saying returned. I turned it over & over in my mind. The next morning, in cabin 5 of the Moana motor camp, I wrote the bones of the psalm, completing it when I returned to Christchurch. In essence it is about trusting the light of our Individuality, of our Personality; of the individuated mind, heart, soul & conscience
